Last week I finally admitted to myself that I highly dislike my job. The number 2 suggested that maybe it’s the commute and okay, maybe it is but I absolutely dread going to work every week. When I was in college, I used to tell myself that I wouldn’t become those people who work just for the sake of making money. It’s a shame that I have been feeling like that for the past few months. The only things that keep me sane nowadays are…

• playing with my nephew and niece. It’s so nice to be greeted by them when I’m pooped. Just hearing how enthusiastic they are to see me when they say “hiiii Auntie!!! I missed you!” or just getting a hug as they say “I love you” can erase all of the exhaustion I have.

• going to household or CFC get-togethers when I’m actually available. I miss this a ton. Praying to God and praising him through songs in isolation is awesome when you want privacy but it really is more awesome to sing and pray to Him with brothers and sisters.

• praying and going to mass

• spending time with the family and good friends

• torturing the number 2. He’s been the biggest contributor when it comes to making myself realize that my life does make sense and that I am here to provide the world something… amazing. Not quite sure what it is yet but I remain faithful.

Mother Teresa’s words never fail to enthuse me especially when I’m feeling very unmotivated at work…

I heal with the knowledge I gained from going to school, with comforting words and touch, and most of all with the faith that the Lord has infused in me. Very soon, I’m going back to school to saturate my brain with more knowledge so I can pursue my dreams that I temporarily set aside the past couple of years.

I'm listening to this song by Dashboard Confessional called Stolen. He sings about how this girl have stolen his heart and how she's the best one of the best ones. I listen to it over and over and the only image that comes to mind is God. Before, I would have thought of um, him... Haha but God has definitely stolen my heart. I have the best conversations with Him. I probably sound schizophrenic right now but it's the truth.

Yo! The talks that were given during FOS the other night were made just for me, seriously. SERIOUSLY. I had so much fun learning and laughing at Kuya Raymund as he made fun of Clauds and at Helen and Dette singing "Youuuuuuu" and at myself after telling Dette that I'm an athlete but only in the game of love hahahahahah (=

Trials really do make us stronger and help us build character. I agree a hundred and eight percent. I agree so much I bet all of my debt on it hahahha. My friend Marc told me that the other night. He said, "Pare, I am soooo sure about it that I'd bet all of my debt on it."

Hwan and I saw this tutoring place today and he said I should go check it out to see if they have a LIFE course. Waaaaaa!!!

Ate Kat told me about this whole blogging through my phone thing so I tried it on livejournal but it wouldn't work!! So I signed up for a new blogger account because I've forgotten my old username.

Anywho, I saw this thermos at the place I'm gonna be moving in to this weekend. The Auntie who's renting out the house owns this thing. I hadn't seen one of those since I was a little kid! I got so excited about it and I guess my excitement made her wonder so she asked "what do you use when you drink coffee or tea?" And I said "the microwave!" Highlaryosss.
